Stepping under an archway of fork truck blades to enter a world of understanding logistics at the Feltham logistics hub, West Thames College principal Marta Gajewska welcomed students to a journey of discovery in the sector of logistics. Rich in jobs and opportunity in the West London heartland of logistics hot-spot from Heathrow to Hounslow, Isleworth to Feltham, the event burst into life with a ceremonial cake cutting by Marta and Logistics Skills Alliance chair, Carl Lomas under an archway of fork truck yellow loaders at the entrance to yard of hands-on kit with power trains from gas to electric.
The journey was a treat for all. Young next generation students were showcased career stairways, apprenticeships and were given the chance to get their hands on the very latest gas and electric transport solutions showcased in the Feltham logistics yard of the WTC Hub.
