LSA chairman Carl Lomas was at the Motorcycle Live NEC show in Birmingham, looking for solutions to congestion and clean air in powered two-wheelers final-mile deliveries.

LSA double diary win as they attended both the Motorcycle Industry Association MCIA AGM, talk of Fleet operator recognition scheme, FORS 5 bike licence and brought you an exclusive photo gallery of the two-wheel showcase of all things from electric to petrol, even some three wheelers to be sure the cargo is on board.

Back on the floor of the NEC, it was Powered two-wheelers from wall to wall, centrepiece race bikes surrounded by more practical delivery two wheelers such as the latest Honda 500. Clean air zone perfection, ULEZ and zero emission; a host of electrics from the new V2 Peugeot to the latest electric motorbike TCMax from Soco.

Visitors packed the aisles to take onboard the new bikes and winter kit. Clothing discounted and stacked from rack to rack; everything a bike courier needs for the cold delivery days ahead. Branded one-piece leathers at 250 pounds, boots 50 and Arai helmets from 300 pounds set a winter store of discount deals for any two-wheeler candidates making deliveries in the coming winter months.

There was high energy action in the dark, a choreographed Arena Sports live show of two-wheel motocross, trials and BMX stunts in a 2000-seater stadium. Classic features supported by the National Motorcycle Museum, Eurosport on the Black Horse stand covered the TT to British Superbikes, lots of 'get on and try before you buy', even an option to ride an adventure bike on the sand. New metal showcase of models and even a Spitfire aeroplane in the NEC.
